Street photographer, digital marketing professional and entrepreneur, Frederik Trovatten uses his experience in shooting urban centers around the world to educate and inform would-be photographers starting out. In addition to his personal and corporate work, his Youtube channel details the how’s and why’s of street photography learnt over the past ten-plus years of shooting.
In his first grand-scale street photography project, Trovatten took to the streets of Mexico City to document a year in the life of a place he knows well. Utilizing Instagram, Trovatten shared daily drops of his manoeuvres throughout the city, with the highlights offering a rich, nuanced and visceral look at one of the world’s most intriguing urban environments. Focusing on the people encountered on the streets, Torvatten’s series provides a wave of beautifully composed images that take viewers to the personality of the place.
