Mariana Palova (Jalisco, 1990). She is a Mexican writer, designer and artist. Mrs. Palova has a degree in graphic design. She is an enthusiastic alchemist, lover of nature, mysticism, occult arts and folk music. She has been writing since she was thirteen, but she started creating works of art at seventeen and her visual work has been presented in more than seventy exhibitions in Mexico, United States, South America, Asia and Europe, as well as printed in various art books and collections around the world. In 2015, she decided to take a step outside of her artistic career to focus on her dream of becoming a writer.

In 2016, her career and work were honored at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, being recognized as one of the most representative artists of the state. Three months after self-publication, The Nation of the Beasts, its first literary saga, was acquired in 2017 by an editorial in Los Angeles for translation and publication in English. “Science fiction is any idea that occurs in the head and doesn’t exist yet, but soon will, and will change everything for everybody, and nothing will ever be the same again. As soon as you have an idea that changes some small part of the world you are writing science fiction. It is always the art of the possible, never the impossible.” – Ray Bradbury
